Rachel Christine Parsley, 30 of Fairfield died Friday, November 16, 2018 near Geff, IL. Born on June 7, 1988 in Mt. Vernon, IL, she had graduated from McKendree University with a business degree and worked in medical billing.
Rachel is survived by her daughter Lexa Parsley, significant other Dillon Lampley, brother Ryan (Alyssa) Medder of Abilene, TX, mother Carol (Mike) Dreith of Fairfield, stepmother Jonna Medder of Cisne, grandparents Harry and Karen Mayfield of Fairfield, stepbrothers Todd Burroughs, Cody Burroughs, Andrew Dreith, Douglas Dreith, and Alexander Dreith, and great grandmother Juenita Taylor. She was preceded in death by her father Tony Medder and grandparents Sue Musgrave and LaVern Medder.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, November 20 at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials in her honor may be made to the Lexa Parsley Education Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
