Gail Patterson – McLeansboro

Barbara G. Patterson, 64, of McLeansboro, died at 2:20 p.m. on Sunday (11-25) at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was a retired waitress and had been employed at Pat’s Café in McLeansboro.

She was born December 12, 1953 in Rosiclare to Jesse Laverne (Ledbetter) and Quentin Thurlow Patterson.

Barbara Patterson is survived by three sisters: Pat Dial of McLeansboro, Darlene Flannell, and Bonita (Stephen) Farris of McLeansboro; three brothers: Curtis Patterson of McLeansboro, Lendell Patterson, of Chicago, and Scotty (Ramona) Dial of McLeansboro; 13 nieces and nephews; 23 great nieces and nephews; and 10 great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Quentin “Duke” Patterson and wife Edith, brothers-in-law Jack Dial and Cecil Flannel, sister-in-law Diana Patterson, and one nephew.

Visitation for Barbara Patterson will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday (11-27) at the Harre Funeral Home of McLeansboro. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday (11-28) at the funeral home with Reverend Andy May officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
