67-year-old Dale R. “Sunny” Drew Jr. of McLeansboro died at 8:12 p.m. on January 10th at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.
He was self employed with a lawn care business and attended Crossroads Church in Norris City.
Drew was born on December 30, 1951 in McLeansboro to Dale R. and Morrissine Eliza (Jumper) Drew. He married Ethel Louise (Watson) on October 29, 1977.
Dale R. “Sunny” Drew is survived by his wife Ethel; two daughters, Cindi Drew of McLeansboro and Julie Renn of McLeansboro. Also surviving are four grandchildren and three sisters; Alice Parker of Roanoak Rapids, North Carolina, Helen Parker of Moweaqua, Illinois and Linda Carter of Carmi. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Parker.
Services for Dale R. “Sunny” Drew Jr. will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 14th at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Reverend Andy May officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday January 13th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He will be buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Blairsville.
