81-year-old Dolores Ellis, a resident of Wayne City, died at Aperion Care Center in Fairfield on Monday, January 28. Dolores was born March 20.1937 in Wayne Co to Raymand and Flors Mitchell Smith. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by 2 sons: Monte (Fiance Carla) White of Wayne City. Jimmie (Darla) White of Mt.Vernon, Illinois; a daughter: Jeannie (Ken) Hall of Wayne City; nine step-children: Duaine Ellis, Nevin (Barb) Ellis, Jeff (Pam) Ellis, Larry Catron, Garry (Linda) Ellis, Kelly (Pam) Ellis, Darlene (James Bill) Ellis, Gayla Cremeens, Terry Ellis; three brothers: Gary (Darlene) Smith of Cisne, Herman (Bonnie) of Wayne City, and Tommy Smith of Fairfield; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, four step-great-great grandchildren and several step-great and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents , husbands, a daughter, sister, brother, and grandson.
Funeral services for Delores Ellis will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 1 at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City. Visitation is on Thursday, January 31 from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Garrison Cemetery . Memorials can be made to Garrison Cemetery and will be accepted at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City which is in charge of all the arrangements.
