75-year-old Ermon Loyal “Junior” Denny passed away April 5, 2019 at Hopkins Care & Rehabilitation Center, Woodburn, KY. He was born October 13, 1943 in Dale, IL to the late Ermon Loyal Denny, Sr. and Verla Lucille (Irvin) Denny. He is married to Reta Diane (Munsell) Denny of Woodburn, KY. He had retired from the Assembly Production Line at General Motors and was a member of Hillvue Heights Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Reta; sons Craig Denny and wife Erin of Woodburn and Dirk Denny of Bowling Green, KY; 3 grandchildren, Travis Loyal Denny, Leah Michelle Denny and Matthew Blake Denny; his sister Phyllis Marlene Denny and brother, Gary Dewayne Denny. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ermon and Verla Denny and sister, Lois Camille Goble
A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, IL. It was Mr. Denny’s wishes to be cremated. A Graveside Memorial for Interment of Ashes will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 27 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, McLeansboro, IL. Friends attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
