Imogene Pepple, 94, of Cisne, Illinois passed away at 6:42 P.M. June 16, 2019 at Cisne Rehabilitation and Health Care in Cisne, Illinois. She was born July 21, 1924 in Jefferson County, Illinois to the late Floyd and Dora Blanche (Scott) Body. She married Coyn E. Pepple on October 18, 1941 in Jefferson County. They were blessed with fifty-four years of marriage before he preceded her in death on December 28, 1995.
Imogene is survived by her grandson, Shawn Kessel and wife, Heather of Cisne, Illinois and great grandchildren, Hannah Kessel and Kori Kessel.
In addition to her parents and husband, Imogene was preceded in death by her daughter Cheryl Dawn Alvis.
Imogene worked for a number of years as an assembler at Airtex in Fairfield, Illinois. She enjoyed spending time with her family and collecting Fenton Glassware.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 21, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Gary Davenport officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
