79-year-old Joan A. Treadway of Grayville, died Sunday, July 7, at Meadowood Nursing Home in Grayville. She was born October 24, 1939, in Grayville, the daughter of Gerald and Geraldine (Bunting) Reese. She was married to Ronald W. “Ronnie” Treadway and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1990.
Joan attended the Northside Baptist Church in Grayville. She was retired from Champion Laboratories where she was an assembler. She enjoyed walking and watching Grayville from her swing. Her grandchildren were a source of her greatest joy.
Survivors include sons Mark and Mike Treadway, both of Grayville; brothers Billy (Tammy) Reese, Dennis Reese, all of Grayville, Tommy (Maxine) Reese of Crossville, Illinois, Eddie (Lori) Linder of Grayville; grandson Todd (Lindsay) Treadway; great grandchildren Jackson and Carson Treadway.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister Betty Linder.
Graveside funeral service is 12:00, noon, on Friday, July 12, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville. There will be no visitation. Friends and family are asked to be at the cemetery by noon Friday.
Memorials may be made to the Northside Baptist Church in Grayville, and will be accepted by Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville.
