Leslea Ann Goin, 34, of Carmi, Illinois, died Saturday, July 13, 2019, at her home. She was born May 18, 1985, in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of Randy and Martha Goin.
She attended First Christian Church in Carmi, and worked at Coleman Tri-County Services. She enjoyed being outdoors in the sun and swimming. Leslea had a keen interest in anything having to do with angels. One of her favorite foods was McDonald’s cheeseburgers. She was a blessing to all who knew her.
Survivors include parents, Randy and Martha Goin of Carmi; sisters Jennifer (Slade) Forker of Newburgh, Indiana, Susan (Matt) Muller of Arlington Heights, Illinois; nieces and nephews Kate and Jake Muller and Eli, Drew, Cam and Kennedy Forker.
She is preceded in death by grandparents Kenneth Stephens and his first wife, Bernice, and his second wife, Freda; Arch Goin, and Robert and Mildred Cleary.
Visitation and funeral are Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at First Christian Church in Carmi. Visitation is at 10 am and funeral is at 12 noon. Burial is in Bruce Chapel Cemetery near Carmi.
Memorials may be made to Coleman Tri-County Services or Brownsville School and will be accepted by Cook Funeral Chapel in Carmi who is in charge of all arrangements.
