67-year-old George E. McClellan of Fairfield, died at 3:25 a.m. on Friday, September 27th at his home. He had worked at Champion Laboratories for 43 years. George was born in Fairfield on February 17th, 1952 to John H. and Goldie Mae (Lee) McClellan. He married Jalene Angle on July 9th, 1972.
George is survived by his wife- Jalene McClellan of Fairfield; daughter- Alicia (Gale) Moore of Fairfield; sisters- Kay (Lloyd) Weber and Sandra McDannell both of Fairfield; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews also survive.
George was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers- Johnnie and Harold McClellan.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday September 30th at Bailey Cemetery. There will be no visitation, family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
