85-year-old Norene Clark of Mount Vernon, Illinois, formerly of Wayne City died at 10:30 A.M. September 27 at Mount Vernon Countryside Manor in Mount Vernon. She was born January 26, 1934 in Illinois to the late Earl and Mogene (Hall) Friend. She married Emory Clark on September 3, 1988 in Wayne City and he survives in Mount Vernon.
In honor of the family’s wishes a Private Family Viewing will take place. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 30 at Church of the Harvest in Wayne City with Reverend Richard McCormick officiating. Interment will follow at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City. Memorials may be made to the Church of the Harvest. The Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon is in charge of all the arragements.
