Everett “Butch” H. Page – Wayne City

Everett “Butch” H. Page, 78, a resident of Wayne City, IL passed away at his home on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

Everett “Butch” H. Page was born on March 26, 1941 in Chicago, IL to his parents Claude and Opal Page.  On May 26, 1970, he married Bonnie Lou (Greenwalt) Page, who survives.

Everett served in the U.S. Army for 22 ½ years, 2 years of which were served in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.  After retiring from the Army, he worked in pest control for Orkin and later for Esmon Pest Control in Wayne City.  He was a member of the First Christian Church of Wayne City.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie Page of Wayne City, a son Terry Page of Wayne City, 3 daughters: Tawny (Jody) Rainwater of Wayne City, Tina (Tom) Bourbeau of CA and Diana (Greg) Elkins of CA, a brother Jack (Kim) Page of MO, 9 grandchildren: Jarod (April) Peyton, Brylan (Blake) Rainwater, Shelby Peyton, Alex (Kevin) Belmont, Kaycee Rainwater, Brianna Rainwater, Ryan Elkins, Tyler Bourbeau, and Trevor Bourbeau, and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both parents, a son Bobby Page, a daughter Tammy Welch, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Funeral services for Everett “Butch” H. Page will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Young Funeral Home in Wayne City with Pastor Steve Griswold officiating.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Garrison Temple Cemetery near Keenes, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the Young Funeral Home in Wayne City.  Online condolences may be made at www.youngfuneralhomellc.com
