John F. Berg, 94, of Fairfield, died at 1:40 PM, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Born on December 9, 1925 in De Valls Bluff, Arkansas to Ernest and Luna (Brown) Berg, he had been a carpenter.
John is survived by a sister Alma Smith of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers- Raymond, Wilbur, and Walter Berg, and 4 sisters- Ovella “Dot” Berg, Wanda Murphy, Cora “Pat” Wilson, and Lena Brackenbush.
A graveside service for John will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, December 14th at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield. There will be no visitation and everyone is asked to go directly to the cemetery. Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield is in charge of the arrangements.
