Mary B. Anderson, 96, of Enfield, passed away Monday morning, January 13, 2020, at Wabash Christian Village. She was born August 1, 1923, in Carmi, the daughter of Walter and Bertha (Dozier) Gwaltney. She married Donald C. Anderson October 19, 1940, in Morganfield, KY and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2019.
Mary was a farmer’s wife and homemaker. She enjoyed going camping and fishing with her husband. She was a member of the Enfield Christian Church.
She is survived by her sons, Joe (Janet) Anderson and Gary (Vickie) Anderson; daughter, Norma (Gene) Bowman; five grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; two brothers, Cecil Gwaltney and Glenn Gwaltney; a sister, Alma Fern Jones; and a granddaughter, Tracy.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with Braden Willis and Mike Fields officiating.
