Angela Marie Jordan O’Dell, age 43, of Cisne, Illinois, passed away Friday morning, January 17, 2020, at her home.
She was born April 1, 1976, in Flora, the daughter of Stuart and Tressa Hamilton.
Family was what Angela’s life was all about. She loved her children dearly and enjoyed spending time on activities like craft projects with them. Angela liked cooking and making cakes. Many treasured memories were made when she went fishing with family and riding motorcycles with Lester. In the past she had worked at Country Kitchen, Dunkin Donuts, and Dairy Queen. She was of the Christian faith.
Angela O’Dell is survived by her husband: Lester Jordan of Cisne; parents: Stuart and Tressa Hamilton of Flora; 3 children: Ethan (Lindsey) O’Dell of Paducah, Kentucky, and Daiton and Lester Jordan Jr. at home; a brother: Dustin (Julie) Hamilton of Parkersburg; a sister: Kaylee Hamilton (Benjamin Jordan) of Louisville; maternal grandparents: Betty and Rex Brown of Flora; parents-in-law: Violet and Geraldo Pirela of Temple, Texas; grandfather-in-law: Pablo Pirela; and nieces and nephews. Angela was an excited and expectant grandmother-to-be for a grandbaby due in July.
She was preceded in death by her sister and her brother-in-law: Chasity and Sam Vaughn; paternal grandparents: Charles and Helen Hamilton; great-grandparents: Clarence and Mary Spitzner; and grandparents-in-law: Emma and Lester Davis.
A funeral ceremony for Angela O’Dell will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Burial will follow in Floral Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation is from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to assist with expenses and will be accepted through the funeral home.
