61-year-old Blair R. Pollard of Fairfield, died at 3:04pm on Monday, February 24 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He had been a truck driver for 20 years. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. Blair was born on February 14, 1959, in San Diego, California, to Larry Pollard and Carol (Garinder) Wilson. He was married to the late Barbara Pollard.
Survivors include his mother, Carol Wilson of Michigan; one son Frederic Pollard of Creve Couer, IL; three grandchildren Reyna Pollard, Kaiden Pollard, and Ares Pollard; and one sister Cindy Ott of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his father Larry Pollard, and wife Barbara.
Per request, Blair’s body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, February 29th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, with no burial at this time. Military rites will be provided by the Anthony Wayne #176 American Legion and the Wayne County Post #4535 VFW at the funeral home. The Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
