66-year-old Sharon Marie (James) Lavine, formerly of Albion, passed away at 9:21PM on Monday, February 24th at Wabash General Hospital in Mount Carmel. Sharon was born on April 21st, 1953 in Mount Carmel to Russell and Stella James.
Sharon is survived by her sons- Skyler (Bonnie) James of Henderson KY and Colton James of Lawrenceville; granddaughter- Cassidy James and one grandchild on the way; sisters- Linda (Larry) Schmittler of Grayville, Iva Jean Pritchett of Bone Gap, and Diana (Steve) Swanson of Mount Carmel; brother- Rusty (Charlene) James of Clay City; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, grandson- Gabriel James, and brother in law- Ron Pritchett.
Sharon’s body was cremated, and a memorial service will be held at 7PM on Thursday, March 5th at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fairfield. Visitation will be from 5PM until the time of service at the church.
