Myrtle Lee (Cochran) Kieser – formerly of Fairfield

64-year-old Myrtle Lee (Cochran) Kieser formerly of Fairfield, passed away at 1:00PM on Sunday February 23 in Dardanelle, Arkansas. Her hobbies included crocheting and reading. Myrtle was born on August 30, 1955 to Leonard Cochran and Minnie Holstein in Fairfield. Myrtle grew up in Fairfield and later married Michael Wayne Kieser on September 14, 1985 in Fairfield. He proceeded her in death on December 6th, 1997.

Myrtle is survived by a daughter- America “Amy” Francis of Salem; Grandchildren- Joseph and Hunter Francis of Galatia IL; sister- Minnie Morgan Hosick of Fairfield; special friend- Rick Lewis of Arkansas; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews also survive.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister- Maudie McGill.

Myrtle’s body was cremated, and memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, March 7 at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10AM until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
