Phillip Cole, 88, of Fairfield, died at 1:07 AM, Monday, March 2, 2020 at his home in Fairfield. Born on May 14, 1931 in Johnsonville to William and Audra (Greathouse) Cole, he had worked at the Career Development Center for many years. Phillip was a longtime resident of the Bally Duff Cila Home in Fairfield and was loved by all there.
Phillip is survived by a sister Phyllis Eileen Gardner of Campsville, IL, a brother Clyde Cole of Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Phillip will be held at 2 PM, Friday March 6th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral home in Fairfield, with burial to follow at Johnsonville Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday from 1 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
