Jenny Kay Warden – Crossville

78-year-old Jenny Kay Warden of Crossville, died on Monday, March 16 at Wabash Christian Retirement Home in Carmi. She was born June 17, 1941 in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Murl Richard and Ruby Helen Skaggs. Her husband of 53 years, Robert Warden, preceded her in death.

Jenny loved her family above all else and was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, as well as a woman of great faith throughout her life. She was the co-owner of R. W. Warden Equipment Service, a Crossville oil field supply and heavy equipment service business for more than forty years. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, and spent many years as a 4-H leader.

Survivors include daughters Becky (Chuck) Conner of Crossville; Rachel (David) Anderson of Carmi, Robin (Iann) Mick of Crossville, and Rena (James) Leisure, of Nashville, Tennessee; sister Cherie (Doug) Garrette of Crossville; grandchildren Whitney (Mark) Pearce, Cassie Mick, Tabby Mick, David Conner, Jena Leisure, Jameson Leisure; great grandchildren Maggie Pearce, Liam Pearce, and Conner Pearce; nieces Jennifer (Adam) Lisy, Kimbrell (Ryan) Rakestraw; great niece Dani Rakestraw; and great nephews William Lisy, Caleb Lisy, and Rhett Rakestraw.

A private family service will be held on Wednesday, March 18 at Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville. Burial will be in Stokes Cemetery near Crossville.
