67-year-old McLeansboro resident Daryl Moss died on Monday (April 13) at his home. He was a carpenter and member of Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church, where he assisted with the food pantry.
He was born on July 25, 1952 in Effingham to Earl Lorene and Shirley Lucille (Reyling) Moss.
Daryl Moss is survived by his mother Shirley; siblings Charlotte (Jim) Thalman of Port Charlotte, FL, Darla (Greg) Minehart of Boyce, Virginia, and Jim (Donna) Moss of Port Charlotte, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father a nephew Curtis Minehart.
Private family memorial services for Daryl Moss will be held at a later date with Pastor Jacob Gray officiating. Memorials may be made to Ten Mile Food Pantry; they will be accepted at the Ten Mile church or Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
