Kevin Lee Hohlbaugh, age 52, of Cisne, Illinois and Mandeville, Louisiana passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday evening, April 19, 2020.
Kevin was born on May 7, 1967, to Kenneth and Barbara Hohlbaugh of Mt. Erie, IL and Mandeville, LA.
Kevin was a family partner of KBK Farms in Mt. Erie. He was a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Experimental Aircraft Association. He had a love of flying and earned his pilot’s license at a very early age. Anyone who knew Kevin knows he was a devoted fan of the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. He enjoyed hosting crawfish boils and fixing Louisiana cuisine for family and friends.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Amy (Beck) Hohlbaugh and his parents, Kenneth and Barbara Hohlbaugh. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Hohlbaugh; paternal grandparents, Lee and Ethyl Hohlbaugh of Mt. Erie; and maternal grandparents, Harry and Imo Drake of Robinson, IL.
A private viewing and graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Brown Cemetery in Mt. Erie, IL.
In honor of Kevin’s ongoing support impacting the fight against breast cancer, memorials may be made to the Dr. Scranton Cancer Fund and can be mailed to, or dropped off at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, 106 NE 4th St, Fairfield, IL 62837. The Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
