Brenda Sue Pedigo – McLeansboro

53-year-old Brenda Sue Pedigo of McLeansboro, died at 4:20 p.m. Sunday, May 31 at her residence. She was born on February 13, 1967 in Herrin to Thomas Caliper and Terri Hobbs. Brenda married John Pedigo on February 27, 1984 in Marion. She was a dietician and worked in nursing homes. Brenda loved to play online games, take care of her grandchildren and loved camping. She was Baptist by faith.

Survivors include her husband: John Pedigo of McLeansboro; children: Maranda Pedigo (husband Cole Boese) of McLeansboro, Jeremy Pedigo of McLeansboro, Ashley Smolley (husband Blake) of Sesser, and Russell Pedigo (wife Becky) of McLeansboro; nine grandchildren: Corey Pedigo, Zach Pedigo, Lylah Crump, Jullian Graves, Tyson Pedigo, Makalya Pedigo, Trinity Graves, Kaylynn Boese, and Andrew Pedigo. her father: Thomas Caliper (wife Debra) of Marion; her mother: Terri Hobbs of Goreville; a sister: Crystal Bollman of Marion; brothers: Jimmy Caliper, Kevan Caliper and wife Lisa of Collinsville, Tommy Dean Caliper and wife Teresa, and David Collins of Ashville, North Carolina; sisters: Kelly Collins of Goreville and Cristal Davis of Interlachen, Florida; other siblings: Sheryl, Patsy, Tim, James, and Rand.

Brenda will be cremated, as per her request and the family will be taking care of her ashes and will plan a private Celebration of Life at a later date. The Harre Funeral Home of McLeansboro is in charge of all the arrangements.
