54-year-old Fairfield resident Patricia M. Humes passed away Tuesday morning, September 15, 2020 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
Pat was born November 8, 1965 in Burkesville, Kentucky. She was born to Robert and Nancy (Wright) Kempton. Pat had worked as a CNA at Wayfair in Fairfield.
Pat is survived by her companion, Hershel Watson, her mother, Nancy Kempton of Burnt Prairie; three daughters, Marie (Jason) Carter, Jennifer (Ron) Stark both of Fairfield, and Rachel (Keith) Ochs of Olney; one brother, Charlie Kempton of Burnt Prairie, four sisters, Bertha (Gary) Ward of Burnt Prairie, Wanda Jo (John) Goff of Carmi, Lin Reser of Fairfield, and Sylvia Jean (Joey) Murphy of Mill Shoals; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Pat in death was her father, Robert Kempton.
Graveside services for Pat Humes will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Cariens Cemetery south of Cisne. There will be a visitation prior to the service at Nale’s Funeral Home Sunday from noon until 2:00 p.m. Masks are strongly encouraged along with social distancing.
