48-year-old Harold Dean Peterson of Casey, died on Thursday, September 24 as the result of an accident in Montgomery County, Illinois.
He was born July 20, 1972, in Clay County, Illinois. Harold married Ashley Beatty on December 16, 2000.
Harold was a loving husband and dad. 5 years ago, he became a truck driver, which was a career he had always hoped to pursue.
He is survived by his wife: Ashley Peterson; a son: Dakota Peterson; 2 daughters: Jada Peterson and Brinna Peterson; his mother: Rose Peterson; 2 brothers: John (Eula) Simpkins and Charles Peterson; as well as extended family members.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, October 2 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to assist the family with expenses and will be accepted by the funeral home.
