36-year-old Jonathan Scott Stanley of Fairfield, died at 5:01pm on Saturday, September 26 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital as a result of an auto accident. He had worked as a clerk at Casey’s General Store in Fairfield.
Jon was born on June 19, 1984, in Olney, IL, to Jeff and Kelley (Bevis) Stanley.
Survivors include his parents Jeff and Kelley Stanley of Fairfield, two sisters Kyle (Kyle) Reel of Evansville, IN, and Kenzey (Aaron) Tucker of Fairfield, one brother Jay (Kayla) Stanley of Fairfield, maternal grandparents Larry and Cathy Bevis of Fairfield, paternal grandparents Don and Sharon Stanley of Fairfield, six nephews Vega Stanley, Judah, Ezra, and Isaiah Reel, Micah and Arlo Stanley, four aunts Julie (John) Pearson, Debra Bevis, Cindy (Don) Grimes, and Peggy (Scott) Johns, and his girlfriend Michelle McGill and her son Oliver McGill.
Funeral services for Jon Stanley will be held at 2pm on Saturday, October 3rd, at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery south of Fairfield. Visitation will be from 12pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to Feed My Sheep soup kitchen and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
