77-year-old Christol Kay Manahan of Sims, died at 3:10pm on Monday, October 5 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, IL. She had been a homemaker.
Christol was born on April 6, 1943, in Rock Island, IL, to Lloyd and Alma (Hollingsworth) Berryhill. She was married to Melvin Manahan.
Survivors include her husband Melvin Manahan of Sims, two sons Adam Davis of Flora, IL, and Michael (Diane) Davis of Powersville, MO, two step-sons Marvin (Kathryn) Manahan of Wayne City, IL, and John Manahan of Memphis, TN, two step-daughters Sheila (Tex) Stavig of Perrysburg, OH, and Melissa Hall of Carmi, IL, four grandchildren, twelve step-grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two step-sons Troy and Kelvin Manahan.
Per the familys request, Christols body has been cremated. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Bailey Cemetery, north of Wayne City.
