Ray Daugenhbaugh – Wilmington, IL – formerly of Rinard

79-year-old Ray Daugenhbaugh of Wilmington, Illinois formerly of the Rinard area, died Saturday, January 2 at Kindred Care Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Ray was born in Flora, Illinois on July 12, 1941 to Jubal Cecil and Lola Novella (Miller) Daughenbaugh.

Ray was employed at Ropers in Bradley, Illinois, for many years as a factory worker. Ray enjoyed doing arts and crafts, making toys and fishing. Ray loved to go to Vegas he was always, Very Lucky, and enjoyed meeting people. Ray was also an Avid Trump Supporter. Ray served in the Army he was stationed in Korea. Ray was a member of the American Legion Post #14, trustee of Flora Eagles for many years he was also a proud member of the NRA. Ray was baptized at Gunion Christain Church in Cisne.

Ray is survived by three sons Ray Jr. (Ruth) Daughenbaugh of North Port, Florida, Jim (Jody) Daughanbaugh of Essex, Illinois, and Jeff (Amanda) Daughenbaugh of Bradley, Illinois; one sister, Kay Perry, of Flora; two brothers Gene (Beverly) Daughenbaugh of Danville, Illinois, Gary Daughenbaugh of Forsyth, Missouri; also surviving are five grandchildren, Cody, Aaron, Tyler, and Ben Daughenbaugh, and Alaina White; seven great-grandchildren also survive Johnathon, Noah, Jace, Veda, and Lucas Daughenbaugh also Weston and Addison White.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, a son John, three brothers Karl, Vern and Bud Daughenbaugh, two sisters Iva Garrison and Joan (Daughenbaugh) Baldridge.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday, January 9 from 10am till noon. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation. Burial will follow at Bunker Cemetery in Rinard, with Military rites at the graveside
