James L. Wade – Fairfield

100-year-old James L. Wade of Fairfield, died at 4:54PM on Friday, March 19 at Aperion Care in Fairfield. He was a Parts Manager at Wayne White Electric and a WWII Veteran. James was born in Jonesboro Arkansas on August 28, 1920 to Jim and Essay (Fuller) Wade.

James is survived by his son- Gary (Dorthea) Wade of Fairfield; granddaughter- Debra (Bill) Charles of Midwest City, Oklahoma; great granddaughter- Claire Charles of Midwest City, Oklahoma; brother- Bill (Sue) Wade of Jonesboro, Arkansas; sister- Martha Vick of Jonesboro, Arkansas; many nieces and nephews also survive.

James was preceded in death by his parents, wife-Dorothy, and brother Charlie.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, March 24 at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial at Maple Hill Cemetery with full military rites provided by Anthony Wayne Post #176 American Legion and the Wayne County Post #4535 VFW. Visitation will be from 11AM until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
