Kevan Jo Stum – formerly of Fairfield; Newburgh, IN

70-year-old Kevan Jo Stum, formerly of Fairfield, died on Thursday, May 13, at her residence in Newburgh, IN. She had worked as the office manager for the family-owned business, Fairfield Ready Mix and Garman Trucking, from 1990 until her retirement 10 years ago.

Kevan was born on July 6, 1950, in Mt. Vernon, IL, to William (Bill) K. and Roxie (Pollard) Musgrave. She was married to Kenneth Stum, who preceded her in death in 1998.

Survivors include two daughters Kelli Simpson of Evansville, IN, and Kristi Stum of Mt. Vernon, IL, four grandchildren Kenna Stum, Miley Dye, Malia Stum, and Breelynn Simpson, three brothers Rob (Tammy) Musgrave and Bill K (Carole Ann) Musgrave both of Burnt Prairie, and Ed (Laura) Musgrave of Flora, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Kenneth.

Funeral services for Kevan Stum will be at 11am on Thursday, May 20th, at the Fairfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at 5pm-7pm on Wednesday, May 19th, at the church. Memorial donations can be made to the Fairfield CP Church and will be accepted at the church or at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
