Harold Eugene Hollett, 92, of Fairfield died Thursday May 13, 2021 at Aperion Nursing Home. Born on June 15, 1928 in Armstrong, IL to George and Beatrice (Miles) Hollett, he served in the US Navy and was a mechanic for Ozark Airlines for 30 years.
Harold was a devoted husband to Shari Hollett for 65 years. He is survived by 2 sons- Mark Eugene (Carol) Hollett and Terry Karr (Joanne) Hollett both of St Charles Mo, and Grandfather to 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
Graveside services for Harold Hollett will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 19th. There will be no visitation, and everyone is asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Memorials in his honor may be made to the Dr. Scranton Cancer Fund or SSM Hospice and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, which is in charge of arrangements.
