54-year-old Julie Faye Friend of Geff, died at 5:27PM on Thursday, June 3 at her home. Julie was born on March 15, 1967, in Olean NY to Jerry and Marilyn (Abel) Friend.
Julie is survived by her mother- Marilyn Friend of Fairfield; sisters- Jana (Scott) Dunivan of Edwardsville IL and Jill (David Smothers) Edwards of Fairfield; brother- Jason (Nikki) Friend of Fairfield; nieces and nephews- Nicole (Travis) Mitchell, Rylee Edwards, Quinn Dunivan, Claire Dunivan, Lincoln Friend, and Levi Friend; Great niece and nephew- Nora and Rhett Mitchell.
Julie was preceded in death by her father- Jerry Friend, and brother-in-law- Gregg Edwards.
Per Julie’s wishes, her body will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 19 at 12 noon. Visitation will be from 11AM until the time of service. Julie’s family requests that anyone who would like to honor Julie by wearing their favorite tie-die or concert t-shirt, feel free to do so.
