81-year-old Donna Sue Deen of McLeansboro, died on Friday, July 30 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN. She was born November 12, 1939 in McLeansboro to Jasper and Mary Ellen (Lewis) Morris. On November 9, 1957, she married Frank Deen. He preceded her in death on April 26, 2021.
Donna was a hairdresser for over 50 years. She was owner/operator of the Beauty Boutique and worked along side her daughter Debbie for 29 of those years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to their home on Lake of Egypt, traveling and reading. She was a member of McLeansboro First Presbyterian Church.
Donna is survived by her son Brad (Lisa) Deen of Norris City; daughter Debbie (Darryl) Phillips of McLeansboro and son Rodney (Connie) Deen of Fairview Heights, IL. Three granddaughters; Kelly (Ben) Brockett of Omaha, IL, Ashley (Dustin) Mellott of Evansville, IN and Heather (Dustin) Stoltzfus of Mattoon, IL; Nine Great Grandchildren; Emma, Reece, Max, and Cybil Brockett; Brady and Journey Mellott and Damien Martin, Sydnee and Sadie Stoltzfus; Sister; Kay Stoetzel of CA and brother Gary ( Judy) Morris of Enfield, brother-in-law Greg Wingler of Marion, IL.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Mary Ellen Morris, her husband Frank, sister Judi Wingler; brother Lewis Morris and brother-in-law Craig Stoetzel.
Private graveside services will be held by Donna’s family at a later date with Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro in charge of the arrangements.
