Kelsey Morris – Fairfield

Kelsey wants to let you all know that her time here on earth is now done. She received her wings and a new heavenly body, and, is now able to ride a bike, run, jump, dance, hear, see, and eat! In full Kelsey fashion, she is eating dessert first! She is now being welcomed with open arms by all her grandparents, her father, her step-mother Cindy, and friends that have gone on before.

31-year-old Kelsey L. Morris of Fairfield, died at 4:05am on Wednesday, November 10 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield.

Kelsey was born on June 25, 1990, in Fairfield, to Bryan Morris and Anita (Lathrop) Morris. She graduated from Fairfield Community High School, Class of 2009. After school, she went to work at the Career Development Center where she loved hanging up clothes at the New 2U resale shop.

Survivors include her mother Anita Morris, one brother Landon (Casey) Morris all of Fairfield, a nephew Finnegan Morris, two nieces Scout Ewing, and Willow Tomlinson, two aunts Mary Jane Morris (Roy Wiseman) of Fairfield, and Cheryl (Steve) Hammil of Louisville, KY, two uncles Rick (Beth) Lathrop of Indianapolis, IN, and Jerry (Linda) Tucker of Wichita, KS.

She was preceded in death by her father Bryan Morris, her step-mother Cindy Meyer, maternal grandparents Glen and Yvonne Lathrop, and paternal grandparents Leonard and Eleanor Morris.

Funeral services for Kelsey Morris will be at 1pm on Monday, November 15th at the First Baptist Church in Fairfield, with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at the church. Memorial donations can made to help with funeral expenses or to Camp Living Stones and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home or at the First Baptist Church during the services.
