Nancy Lou (Trotter) Davis, 65, of Belle Rive, IL passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Nancy was born on August 15, 1957 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Bill & Betty Trotter. Nancy worked at various jobs in the Mt. Vernon area for many years, including 8 years as a housekeeper at Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon, IL. She was a member of the Dahlgren Baptist Church in Dahlgren, IL. She loved her animals and will be dearly missed by many people.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Amber Davis of Belle Rive, Mother Betty Trotter of Belle Rive, a brother David (Carolyn) Trotter of Belle Rive, a sister Diane (Marion) Haile of Bethany, IL; 6 nieces and nephews, 14 great-nieces and great-nephews, 2 uncles: Wayne Irvin of Moment, IL and Howard (Kathryn) Irvin of Belle Rive, and an aunt June Irvin of Belle Rive.
Nancy was preceded in death by her son Billy Davis, father Bill Trotter, maternal grandparents Albert & Ruth Irvin, paternal grandparents Naaman & Phoebe Trotter, and an uncle Charlie Irvin.
Funeral services for Nancy Lou (Trotter) Davis will be held on Monday, September 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren, IL with Pastors Rodney Mellott and Dustin Haile officiating. A private family visitation will be held Monday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm, with public visitation from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
