Olney Police officials are actively seeking new recruits and have recently update the rules on where a police officer may live.
Effectively immediately, members of the police department may establish a residence in Richland, Clay, Jasper, Lawrence, Crawford, Edwards, Wayne, and Wabash Counties.
Olney PD is accepting applications for police officers through February 8th. The city will administer physical and written tests on Saturday, February 11. They are also accepting lateral transfers to the police department.
