Much of the region is under a flood watch starting this evening and running through late Friday. Officials at the National Weather Service say that 2 to 4 inches of rainfall are expected with some areas getting as much as 5 inches of rainfall. National Weather Service Officials at Paducah have already issued a flood warning for the Little Wabash River at Carmi, in effect until further notice starting Saturday.
