XENIA MAN SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS FOR FIREARM POSSESSION

Scott Tolliver, 39, of Xenia, was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of a handgun, shotgun, and rifle following a prior aggravated domestic battery conviction, a forcible felony.
The sentence, handed down Monday in Clay County Circuit Court, also includes one year of supervised release after prison.

A felony charge of reckless discharge of a firearm was dismissed in exchange for the plea.
