Blood Drives

The American Red Cross asks eligible donors to give blood to help ensure a stable and diverse blood supply is available during emergencies of all types. You can help by reminding the public that it’s the blood already on the shelves that helps save lives.

All blood drives are held on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center of the Community of Christ located at the corner of Windsor Lane and Leininger Road


Aperion Care Fairfield will be sponsoring a community blood drive with the American Red Cross on 03/17 from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm at Community of Christ Church in Fairfield.  Donors of all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, B negative and A negative.  According to the Red Cross, type O negative is the universal blood type that can be safely transfused to anyone and is often used to treat trauma patients.  For more information or to make an appointment to donate, call 838 – 9873 or sign up online at with sponsor code communityofchrist.
