Clay County Officials are reporting that an investigation is underway into the death of a Louisville Woman on Monday.
According to Clay County Coroner Bryce Henry, the Clay County Coroner’s Office was requested to respond to the southwest portion of the lake at Charley Brown Park in Flora for a female that was believed to be deceased in a vehicle. Coroner Henry pronounced 59-year-old Gayla Jones Glowacki of Louisville dead at the scene. Officials have scheduled an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
Flora Police, Clay County Sheriff’s Officials, Clay County Ambulance, the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and the Clay County Coroner’s Office are investigating the accident. Nothing further has been released at this time.
