The Fairfield Police Department has released their June 2023 Report for the public.
In the month, the department answered 488 calls for service. The department wrote up 78 police case reports and made 4 community policing contacts. 14 arrests were made. 9 arrests were misdemeanor, 3 warrant related, and 2 felony arrests. 6 ordinance violations were wrote up with 4 being warnings and 2 being citations. The department responded to 12 crashes in town and conducted 71 traffic stops, leading to 13 citations. The department reports there are 79 active golf cart and UTV permits.
