The Wayne County 4-H Fair Continues. The University of Illinois Extension has released the show results from several shows.
The House Show was held on Saturday at the Wayne County Saddle Club. Ryleigh Taylor was the high point senior trophy winner while Payton Ellison was the High Point Junior Trophy Winner. Taylor also won senior showmanship. Enery Frederick won Junior Showmanship and Ashtyn Smith won Junior Showmanship Alternate.
The Poultry Show took place Monday. Under Fancy Breeds, Macie Edwards took home Champion Female. Wren Braddock took home reserve female champion and champion male. Mason Ethridge took home reserve champion male. In Commercial Breeds, Noah Atkins took home champion female. Kentley Ethridge took home reserve champion female and champion male. Peyton Johnston tool home reserve champion male. Under Game Birds, Landon Paul took home Champion Female. Noah Atkins took home reserve champion female and champion male. Peyton Johnson had the reserve champion male. Under Miscellaneous Birds, Wren Braddock had both the champion male and female. Peyton Johnston took home reserve champion male and Kiersten Vaughan took home reserve champion female. Under trophies, Macie Edwards was the overall champion female with Kentley Ethridge was the Overall Champion Male. Grand Champion Market Pen went to Eli Gray and Reserve Champion Market Pen went to Kate Vaughan. Junior Showmanship went to Kentley Ethridge and Senior Showmanship went to Peyton Johnston.
The Wayne County 4-H Beef Show took place at the Wayne County Fairgrounds on Tuesday,. Callen Robbins exhibited the Grand Champion Steer while Ryleigh Taylor exhibited the reserve champion steer. In the Angus class, Jensyn Robbins exhibited the champion female while Callen Robbins exhibited the reserve champion female. In other breeds, Lucas Loker exhibited the champion female and Remi Taylor exhibited the reserve champion female. The Champion Female over all breeds was exhibited by Jensyn Robbins while Callen Robbns exhibited the reserve champion female over all breeds. The bucket calf champion was exhibited by Kyra Wheeler. Emilee Schuster won the rate of gain contest. Kaylin Loker was named Senior Showman while Locan Schuster was the alternate. Harper Buchanon was named Junior Showman with Emilee Schuster named alternate.
The 4-H Rabbit Show took place Wednesday at the Wayne County Fairgrounds. Under Fancy Breeds, Chase Barton took home Champion Doe and Reserve Champion Doe. Macie Edwards earned Champion Buck and Kemberlin Walker took home reserve champion buck. In Commercial Breeds. Isaiah Anderson took home champion doe. Kohen Kinsolving took home reserve champion doe. Kendall Barnfield earned champion buck while Kacie Kinsolving earned reserved champion buck. In trophy winners, Chase Barton took home Best of Show and Grand Champion Meat Pen. Reserve Best of Show was Kendall Barnfield and Bryson Simpson took home the reserve champion meat pen. Senior Showmanship went to Chloe Owens while Clayton Fearn took home Junior Showmanship.
Chelsey Greenwalt was the winner of the 4-H BBQ Chicken Cooking Contest.
