The FCHS Board of Education met Wednesday night for the purchase of consideration and/or action to accept an LED lighting bid, approve one Evidence-Based Funding payment to be moved to Operations and Maintenance in March to cover the cost of the LED lighting project, and to receive a report on the bid sale of 2 District buses.
The Board voted to accept the LED Lighting Bid from Energy Harness for $143,784.85 and to approve moving the second Evidence-Based Funding payment for March 2025 to Operations and Maintenance to cover the cost of the LED Lighting Project.
The cost will be offset with a Utility Rebate which could total as much as $30,500 and reduce the cost of the project. Funds will also come from an ISBE approved School Maintenance Grant.
Lewis Scrap Metal was awarded the high bid sale of 2 District school buses.
