Fair season is underway in Wayne County as results have been released for the Home Economics and Dog Shows.
The Home Economics show took place at Cornerstone Community Church. Brielle Curd, Caleb Vaughan, and Kemberlin Walker were selected to represent Wayne County in Clothing 1 at the state fair in Springfield. Addisyn Hutchcraft and Veronika Vinson were selected to represent in Shopping in Style and Jacey Smith will represent in Quilting.
In Food, Brielle Curd, Kadence Thomason, Amelia Vaughan, and Kate Vaughan will represent in Cooking 101. Hannah Fickas will represent Cooking 301 while Maggie Koontz represents Cooking 401. Hunter Kirk will represent in Sports Nutrition. Alternates for the cooking show include Jacey Smith- Cooking 201, Bella Hodges- Cooking 301, Kentley Ethridge- Food Science, Veronika Vinson- Cooking 101, Addisyn Hutchcraft- Cooking 401, Ellanie Vanway- Cooking 401, and Aspen Legg- Cooking 301
In the Dog Obedience Show held at the Wayne County Fairgrounds, Jacey Smith was the winner of the Dog Obedience Show. Robbie Crisp was the Jr. Showmanship winner and Ellanie Vanway was the Jr. Showmanship Alternate.
