The Hamilton-Wayne County Relay For Life will be held this coming Saturday from 5-10 p.m. on the lawn of the Hamilton County Courthouse in McLeansboro. Opening Ceremony begins at 6 p.m., followed by the Survivors’ Lap. The event includes live music, food booths, activities for kids, and raffles. A Luminaria Ceremony will begin at 9 p.m.
According to the local event’s Facebook page, this year is already a success as they have reached their goal of $50,000. The money raised in this event will go toward the fight against cancer.
Debbie Knight will be providing entertainment at 5 with musical entertainment also being provided by Landen Billington, Snake Lane Revue, and Clay Rapp.
