The City of Flora will be accepting sealed bids for a 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe with over 99,000 miles. The City has set a minimum bid of $4,500.00. Sealed bids will be accepted until July 11th at 10:00 a.m. Sealed bids can be submitted to the Flora City Clerk’s office at the City Hall Building, located at 131 E. 2nd Street, by mailing them to P.O. Box 249, Flora, Illinois 62839 or by email at bids@florail.us.
All bids shall include a cashier’s check or a money order in the total amount of the bid. Any unsuccessful bidder shall receive a return of the cashier’s check or money order. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and noted on the outside of the envelope “2014 Tahoe” or in the subject matter of any email bid. All email bids shall be subject to submittal of the money order or cashier’s check in the full amount being delivered to the City Hall Building prior to 10:00 a.m. on July 11, 2023.
The vehicle can be viewed by stopping at the Flora Police Department, 123 North Locust Street, Flora, Illinois between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
