The City of Fairfield is continuing repairs on the water system through the city. On Monday, a few more boil orders have been announced
According to officials with the Water Department, the following boil orders are in place:
East Douglas from 1st to Southeast 6th Street
Southeast 6th Street from Center to East Douglas
West Center Street from Southeast 9th to Southeast 10th Street
The west side of SW 10th street from Delaware to Leininger Road
The east side of SW 11th from Delaware to Leininger Road.
West Douglas from 1st Street to 7th Street.
Southwest 3rd from Delaware to King.
City officials say that water needs to be boiled in those areas for human consumption until further notice.
