An area business was recognized by local and state officials on Thursday for celebrating 50 years of being in business.
Dimaggio’s Pizza has been serving pizzas in the Fairfield area since 1973. Mayor Gary Moore as well as Illinois State Representative Dave Severin were on site to celebrate the occasion.
On a Facebook by officials with DiMaggio’s, they are thankful for the customers they have had over the last 50 years and say they couldn’t have been around to serve the community without the community support.
