The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has most of our area under a slight risk of severe weather today.
The storms will be along a cold front that will be bringing cooler temps to the area. Weather service officials say damaging winds are the main threat with this event.
Timing for today’s severe weather is expected between 3 and 9 pm.
There are thunderstorms in tomorrow’s forecast as well, but severe weather is not anticipated.
