Lucina Catherine Coy, Age 95 and resident of Piopolis, IL passed away at 12:50 P.M., Saturday,
July 8, 2023 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital, McLeansboro, IL.
Visitation will be held 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at St. John
the Baptist Catholic Church, Piopolis. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. A Morning Visitation
will begin at 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Thursday, July 13 at Harre Funeral Home in
McLeansboro and the family will then go in procession to the Church where the Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 13.
Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Piopolis. Father Slawomir Ptak will
officiate the Service.
Lucina was born August 16, 1927 in Piopolis, IL to George and Katherine (Rubenacker) Roesch. She married Gordon R. Coy on January 3, 1946 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Piopolis. He
preceded her in death October 14, 1995. Lucina was a homemaker and was a member of St. John Baptist
Catholic Church. She loved visiting with her family and attending Church.
