Kevin Dale McComas, 62, Grayville

Kevin Dale McComas, 62, of Grayville, Illinois, died suddenly Friday, July 21, 2023, at Wabash
General Hospital. He was born June 26, 1961, in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Finis Wilson
McComas and Shirley (Funkhouser) McComas.
He was a draftsman and enjoyed various art media including wood burning, sandstone carving
and painting. Other pastimes included fishing, hunting, and being with his many nieces and
nephews. He also loved his dog, Gypsy.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley McComas; sister Julie Hartman, both of Grayville; nieces
and nephews Annastasia Windle, Kali Raymond, Josie Raymond, Brandon Raymond, Jr., Riot
Raymond, Myla Raymond, Madilynn, Ava Raymond; and his dog, Gypsy.
He is preceded in death by his father; and brother-in-law, Michael Wayne Hartman.
Kevins funeral service will be private for family only.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville, Illinois.
Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville is in charge of arrangements.
